 December 2021

Ek het al weer so lank laas iets hier geskryf weet nie eens meer of dit die moeite werd is nie. Ek wil tog graag iets hou vir die kinders om eendag te lees. So ek moet seker oorslaan Engels toe sodat al my kinder my sal kan verstaan. :)

So another year is nearing its end and so many things happend that I am tired just thinking of writing about all of it. It will be Christmas soon.... again .... Then it will be 2022.... I do not look forward to another year. I am tired.

Danie and Jeff putt up a greenhouse in Shutka.  It was many months of working on this thing

The kids enjoyed a summer day camp for a week at QSI with Young Life

Zane played baseball. until his knee injury got worse and now sport is kind of put on the side line until we have a solution of what to do.

The opening of the Greenhouse was in May

Chereni turned 6 this year and started school at the British Academy ( last year of Pre-school)

The kids got their covid shots

We had one date night this year!

Zane turned 17

Jac had another Space Birthday party at Matka

All the children are going to school. This is not an easy thing and was not an easy decision to make.  There are many ups and downs and we are not sure if school will be the answer for Jac. We might go back to homeschooling for grade 8.

Danie had his birthday as well

Neo-Rie and Bita got to see one another after more than a year apart and that was a happy reunion

Corona is still alive

Greenhouse is looking good

Jac and Zane finally has their own rooms and they are really happy about it

Some Fall Festivals and Pumpkin Patch photos

Zane was part of the MUN (Mini United Nations)

Growing some salads

And now it is Christmas 2021

We made some juice for Kalinka

Liam came to visit for a week!

All the kids and Lucy in their QSI tops

Looking after Mali for 3 weeks

Advent. Just waiting on Christmas now.

So this is what happend.... in short... in long is too long and too emotional draining to explain.

Merry Christmas!
