So it is summer...
Not the year I was thinking of. It is the year 2020.... so that should say a lot... the year no one would like repeated or would travel to if time travel becomes a thing..... CORONA VIRUS.
Enough said. I do not have the brain strength to think about it now. I am just .... again... posting some pictures or the last 6 months of school. but now it is too difficult to do... it is not on my computer anymore
I have no idea what next school year (August) will bring yet.... there might be some changes again in our homeschooling life.
Jac and Theo working on one of their ranks, Making a fire and cooking some food. This was fun, even though it was really cold outside.
This was our Rosetta Stone cake..... Yeah it actually tasted really good.
Then came Easter. We had a sedar like the Jews, but with some differences. This is our sedar plate I made.
After a while when it wasn't so cold and we could go out again, we went for a walk and collected some leaves and seeds for Science.
Our Easter cake.... it was yummy...
More art projects we did... From Twinkle... it was free for two months, I loved it. Will see if I can buy it again once I have some money.
Some Covid 19 pics....
So then it was the end of April and the end of our School year.

Jac finished his Arrow of Light rank this year in Cub Scouts and moved unto Boy Scouts or BSA
We made ink for berries and use a feather I brought from South Africa to try and write like they did in the old day. You have to re-dip every second letter. This would have taken them a very long time to do.
Since Zane is not homeschooling anymore, We don't see him so often. But we attended a game.... Zane ended up in the Emergency with a very badly twisted ankle.
Girls Scouts this year was at QSI school. So I went there twice a week, once for the Daisies and then for the Cadette's. Here they are working on a Detective badge
Making a DNA strip with beads and pipe cleaners
Some of the Art projects they did this year, and our beans grew and some potatoes we planted.
For Valentine's Day I took 3 of the Girl Scouts out to the Mall. Both of these girls are leaving now and will not be part next year. Each moving to a different country. This is the difficult thing about living overseas and losing some friends.
Jac and Theo working on one of their ranks, Making a fire and cooking some food. This was fun, even though it was really cold outside.
One of the last activities before the schools closed was a family game night. Our team (Thanks to Jac) did not do so bad in the end. Jac knew all the flags and that moved our score up! We were the International team at the bottom. Entered at the last second....
More Girl Scout fun we did.
Al she wants are earrings
Science experiments and solar systems to scale...
And then it was Corona time...... We thought it was funny, overreaction to the flu..... it wasn't
So During lock down and time not going anywhere, we had more time to school and finish our school really early...hoping to have a holiday later.
This was our Rosetta Stone cake..... Yeah it actually tasted really good.

The 1st of April is the day everyone dresses up. but we were in Lockdown so we just dressed for the fun of it.
After a while when it wasn't so cold and we could go out again, we went for a walk and collected some leaves and seeds for Science.
The super pink moon we tried to see
Our Easter cake.... it was yummy...
Zane had one week of holiday from his Zoom school classes and we decided to play some ping pong
Then Earth Day came along and me made a giant poster
More art projects we did... From Twinkle... it was free for two months, I loved it. Will see if I can buy it again once I have some money.
We helped to pack lots of food parcels....
So Scouts went to zoom as well... Jac is earning lots of merit badges via Zoom
So then it was the end of April and the end of our School year.
